Maps of the Ancient Greek World
Many of the locations that are the setting to Greek myths can no longer be found on a modern day map. These great ancient cities have long since been lost to time or renamed throughout history. Oh, but not all is lost. Thanks to the work of archeologists, mortal men and women whose job it is to search for and rediscover the location of ancient cities, humans can recreate maps as they would have appeared thousands of years ago. Here are some of those maps to help you on your own quest to understand the stories of mythology and create new stories of your own. Remember, the setting of a story is just as important as its characters and their adventures.
